BIDEN'S STATE OF DELUSION ADDRESS: A POTEMKIN VILLAGE

A Potemkin Village is any constructed or external facade designed as a propaganda tool to make to deceive a country that is faring poorly into believing that it is doing well.

The Potemkin Village was named after Grigory Potemkin, the power-crazy former lover of Empress Catherine II aka Catherine the Great, who designed a group of portable fake villages along the banks of the Dnieper River to convey to his Empress that all was well along the Crimean front, which had been devastated during the Russian 1783 Annexation of Crimea in 1783.

The conquered territory came to be known as "New Russia". Potemkin, with much at stake, populated Catherine's six-month tour route with Russian settlers, fake buildings, and other false constructs indicating that all was well with the Russkies. 

At the time, the conquered Crimea was heavily populated with Muslim Tartars whose potential as a fifth column threat to the occupying Russians was substantial. The Muslim Tartars were loyal to the Ottoman Turks as war was about to break out between Russia and Turkey. Nobody likes to deliver bad news to the boss, so Potemkin created the fiction that all was well in his fake villages populated with its happy, dancing Russian peasants. 

The term "Potemkin Village" since the days of Cate the Great has been used as a metaphor to create the illusion of success, peace, and tranquillity, where the opposite is actually true.

As for Joe's State of The Union Address, it was all a lie, creating the illusion of a successful first-year Presidency. Joe's first State of The Union Address was his construct of the Potemkin Village that lives in his head and is messaged to America through The American Pravda and Democrat Industrial Complex (DIC)

Thus far, Biden's Presidency has been a dismal failure on all fronts.

• Inflation is at a 40 year high. Joe's take on that? It's a great success story. He claims it was his helmsmanship that created an unprecedented economic recovery, and this type of inflation to be a wonderful thing. Of course, we must tackle this problem to get it under control. How? Joe admonished American businesses to "get their costs under control", but not labor costs, which everyone knows accounts for the largest single expense for any business.

• There was no mention of crime prevention, except for a fake message supporting the police, while the thrust of his police messaging was to hold them accountable, not to support them.

• There was no attempt to even address the issues of energy prices at the pump, or energy as the underlying cause of war in Ukraine and the U.S. dependence on foreign oil. Joe's only mention of his next move on energy was to release 70 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, roughly a three-day supply.

Joe has always been a superb liar regarding objective facts, however, as Senator from Delaware, or Obama Gal Friday as Vice President, he wasn't in a position to do much damage. As President of The United States, he is…

Joe's “State of Delusion Address” was filled with objective lies and a complete failure to even address the underlying realities of rampaging crime, strategic existential energy dependence, and the existential threat of China (we all know why). He did, as always, convey his ardent support (as ordered by his handlers) to "bullied" LGBTQ youth in their quest to find themselves.

The State of the Union Address is a time and place for the President of the United States to make his case of past performance to the nation and to set an agenda for America’s future.

Biden did neither of those things.

Biden’s teleprompted rendition of the success and optimism regarding the state of our American Union was written for him to create the Potemkin Village of America that his DIC puppet masters, in their contempt for our intelligence, hope the American people are dumb enough to believe in.

With $5 per gallon gas, record crime, massive illegal immigration, military humiliation, and record inflation, even Grigory Potemkin couldn’t have made Joe’s State of Delusion Address believable, and he invented the Potemkin Village.

The fact is that America today is weaker than at any other time in the post-WWII era in every major category that matters.

The first step towards reestablishing America’s role as the preeminent leader on the World stage is to extricate our country from the delusions of Joe Biden’s “Potemkin Village of America”.
