With the currently concurrent prosecutions of former President Trump, America is at a crossroads. Yeah, of course, we hear that all the time, akin to "This is the most important election of our lifetime… in history... We are on the threshold of X… etc.", but this time, it's true.
The criminal prosecution of a former President by a Justice Department whose only accomplishment to date is the selective prosecution of its political enemies is bad enough, terrible in fact. However, the prosecution of a former President for crimes allegedly committed while in office is a potential death knell to the Presidency and ultimately our Constitutional Republic.
The Left, along with its fellow travelers, i.e., The Democrat Industrial Complex, which includes The American Pravda, is ACCOMPLISHING THEIR GOAL OF DESTROYING our Constitutional Republic. When accused of the directed Stalin-esque selective prosecution of their despised political rival, Donald Trump (and others), they spit out the truism to justify their actions by stating that "No Man is above the Law". That is a truism. A truism is a rhetorical device that states the obvious but rings hollow truth when placed in support of the argument they are trying to make. It's something that is obviously true but simultaneously hollow as a device in supporting its proposition.
By example, when justifying the rapacious cost of higher tuition, the scoundrels speaking for a University might say: “Students must pay the higher cost because education is important, or knowledge is good, etc.” As an aside, Colleges and Universities, as we all know, especially those with multibillion-dollar endowments, have essentially become hedge funds with classrooms. Another example where the truism shoe fits might be for those wanting to eliminate the 2nd Amendment: they state, "Guns Kill". Yeah, they do, but not without the killer pulling the trigger.
"You can't yell fire in a theater" is another truism intended to censor political speech by the Left. When you hear the Democratic Prosecutorial Machinery justifying the prosecutions of Donald Trump in multiple jurisdictions and then justify it by stating that “no man is above the law”, we all know it really means, "You find me the man, I'll find you the Crime." The Left's man of the hour has been Donald Trump since he stepped off that elevator in June 2015.
We all know that the "No man is above the law" truism is bullsh-t as practiced by the Left. What the clichéd truism really means is "Our man is above the Law, yours isn't."
The prosecution of a former President by local officials will prove to be the silver bullet aimed at the heart of destroying not only that President, b ut the Presidency itself. Why? Because every American President (current and former), once this precedent is established, will become vulnerable to prosecution at every level by every jurisdiction.
As always, the Left, in their drive and passion to destroy our Constitutional Republic, shows no restraint. Imagine this: A former sitting President allegedly breaks a law in a jurisdiction that is politically hostile to him (or maybe her, hasn't happened yet); they are threatened with jail time and will be required to participate in multiple state and local prosecutions, which would ultimately devolve into a cornucopia of destabilizing madness to any Presidency.
The reality is that the Left is unrestrained and unrelenting in its mission to destroy America. They are well on their way to destroying almost every institution and foundational principle that our Constitutional Republic rests upon. The Office of the American Presidency is the lynchpin of American Governance. The Left's most reviled Republican President, and they've hated all of them, was Richard Nixon (until Donald Trump).
Nixon was forced to resign when the confluence of all Watergate-related issues resulted in almost every Republican member of Congress urging him to do so, and making it clear that they would not support him in the event of an Impeachment trial in the Senate. Nixon finally resigned from office on August 8, 1974. Guess what? The DC authorities didn't prosecute him for the local Watergate burglary. It is likely that Nixon committed many crimes in many jurisdictions during the Watergate cover-up. Who knows, maybe lying to the voters of Georgia about the cover-up was a crime in Georgia?
While we will never know what Nixon's fate would have been had he not been pardoned by President Ford on September 8, 1974, it is unlikely that even the hated Richard Nixon would have been prosecuted at the State and Local levels. The Democrat Industrial Complex and their fellow travelers on the Left were 49 years younger when Nixon left office, and hence far less effective in using their demonic levers of political power and influence to destroy our Constitutional Republic and The American Way.
By the way, Democrat Presidents, the ugly reality is that you too will likely be prosecuted by county and local prosecutors in hostile political jurisdictions, so be careful before breaking the speed limit when driving in, let's say, Alabama.
And Joe, there will be no more sniffing of women’s hair in rural West Virginia… You might go to jail!
This analysis does not address the guilt or innocence of former President Trump regarding any of the local or state prosecutions. It is meant to shed light on what is really happening here: The Rotten Bunch of BANANAS currently in power, through the destruction of their most potent pollitical enemy and ultimately the Office of the Presidency of the United States… Future Democrat Presidents, I can assure you that you will not be immune from this evil.
“No man is above the law”… Yeah, sure!
