Keep Your Eye on the Ball: It’s a Wrecking Ball

WOKE up, everyone! 

We now live in an America where those who believe in The American Way are an endangered species. Yes, it's true that there may be a silent majority who still do believe, but that doesn't matter. It's like the old adage, "If a tree falls in a forest and nobody’s there to hear it, does it make a sound?” The answer: Absolutely not. If there is no sound, there can be no actionable impact.

In their passionate drive to destroy America, the left has been playing chess for nearly 60 years. Conservatives, who in the eyes of most are simply Republicans concerned with checkbook issues, have been playing a very weak game of checkers. Republicans have secured the White House repeatedly during the past six decades, yet those victories, including Ronald Reagan, the father/son Bushes, and Donald Trump, have done nothing to stem the tide of the radical left-wing hegemony over the core American institutions that ultimately shape and govern our lives.

The net result? In 2021, the United States of America has an official “Woke” culture that is being systematically implemented and enforced by and through big business, big tech, and the media, and codified into law by our government. Our official Woke culture is, in fact, the new secular religion. Any deviation from this religion is punished mostly in the same manner as was heresy during past centuries before the U.S. Constitution established the right to free exercise of religion and freedom of speech. The most common heretical sanctions of yesteryear were banishment, ex-communication, and burning at the stake. To date, cancel culture exacts two of the three. I have little doubt that the third is still possible given the zeal of our political, cultural, and institutional enforcers and their punitive intolerance for non-woke dissent.

While there is not yet a formal definition of "Woke" which covers all the bases, here are the cliff notes:

America's haters define its founding date not as 1776, but 1619. Hence, the radical infusion of the 1619 Project is being forced into the American classroom and force-fed into our entire stream of culture. The haters’ big lie about America is that it was built on a rotten foundation of racism and myriad other made-up “-isms” that make America an evil trespasser to the North American continent and, therefore, it must be evicted due to its foundational illegitimacy. The America haters are well on their way to accomplishing their goal. Their focused objective is to replace America with a Marxist state ruled by those they claim to be the -“ism” victims of their lies. In their America, there will be no room for the toxicity of whiteness or anything related to core American values or traditions, or those of Western Civilization.

On the government side, there are two significant beneficiaries of The American Way who are leading the charge to destroy America, its institutions, and traditions. They are Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, nee Sandy Cortez, and Senator Bernie Sanders. Sanders, a lifelong "Democratic Socialist" and fairly recent millionaire, became a millionaire through his book sales — a book that attacks capitalism ad nauseam.

Sander’s fetching young protege, the self-styled “AOC” — former barmaid, taco server, and current Twitter starlet — lived in the Bronx for a minute as a child and grew up in suburban Westchester County, where she went from pouring drinks, cleaning toilets, and slinging hash to become, at age 29, the youngest female ever elected to Congress.  She too hates America, but more than anything, she loves power.

To listen to AOC speak, it would be easy to dismiss her as the dimwitted imbecile that she appears to be. But she, more than anyone else in government, has set the national progressive political agenda with her catastrophic and destructive Green New Deal. Fools both young and old, in Congress and other branches of government (including the current occupant of the White House), are terrified of defying her will. With her thirteen million Twitter followers, she has a huge megaphone that reaches the millennial generation which has been brainwashed to believe that her ideas are good. This generation otherwise identifies with AOC because they have been similarly triggered by the same micro-aggressions of which she incessantly and publicly complains.

As an example of her transgenerational political power, Senator "No Fool like an Old Fool" Bob Markey (D-Mass) immediately embraced her Green New Deal —which should be renamed: The Marxist Plan to Bankrupt America and Impose Central Control.

In short, the apparently dim-witted AOC is shrewd and not to be underestimated. Be advised, she is coming for you, Mr. and Mrs. America, and you had better be ready.

But you, the individual American citizen, still have a superpower. Remember Rosa Parks, the black woman who refused to sit in the back of the bus and who gave rise to the Montgomery Bus Boycott? She essentially created the Civil Rights Movement in America, which ultimately led to disenfranchised Southern blacks securing the vote. Her story and countless others make clear that when an individual asserts themselves, they can accomplish big and great things.

There is a cliche that began as an advertising slogan: "Go Big or Go Home.” To me that is a poor strategy — I say, "Start Small and Go Big.” Virtually every successful enterprise in America, whether in business, politics, or any universe of an endeavor, started with individual initiative.

So let’s decide on a course of action. First, what issue or compromised core American value have you seen disintegrate? What stirs the most passion in your soul? Next, take personal action!

The first step: hold your local government, schools, and all other enterprises personally accountable to you. Remember, without your individual initiative as the fundamental building block for change, our goals for The Restoration of The American Way will not be achieved.

Another thing you should do immediately: boycott every company that supports "Woke" culture. Refuse to use their products and services. Start your own individual sanctions movement by refusing to patronize any such enterprise and let them know why you are doing so.

Wokeness must come at a steep cost to its perpetrators, supporters, and affiliates at all levels. Most importantly, you must make it known to them why you have chosen to boycott.

Stay the course and Keep Your Eye ON the Ball! It's a Wrecking Ball….

You are now the resistance and the only hope for the restoration of The American Way.
