RUSSIA AND CHINA TOGETHER AGAIN AT LAST / AMERICA'S GREATEST GEOPOLITICAL LOSS IN 50 YEARS/NO COMMENT FROM BIDEN / BORSCHT & CHINESE TAKEOUT ARE A DEADLY COMBINATION
Vol. II | Issue. 154 | March 23, 2023
Richard Nixon, the 37th President of the United States, was many things. Nixon was a WWII Veteran, member of the California House of Representatives, Senator from California, two-time Vice President, and the 37th President of the United States. Nixon, in many ways, could be described as intellectually brilliant, and politically paranoid. He was also a virulent anti-communist ultra-conservative and at times counterintuitively liberal throughout his political career. It was under the Nixon administration that the two oppressively gargantuan oppressive liberal Federal Bureaucracies OSHA and the EPA were started. Nixon was in most ways an enigma wrapped in a riddle given the seemingly endless contradictions in both his philosophy and actions.
There is the thing: despite his contradictions in personality and political character besides being the first President in American history to resign. In 1972 in a masterstroke of strategic diplomatic brilliance, Nixon and Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, the architect of his plan, visited communist China to destabilize the Axis of Communist Evil between China and the former Soviet Union. Nixon and Kissinger met with Chairman Mao Tse-Tung and that sealed the beginning of the end of the Sino/Soviet alliance that had been in place since 1949.
Nixon’s China strategy was strategically brilliant and on some level politically risky given that few completely understood the motivations of a President who was elected as a staunchly Conservative Commie hater going abroad to start a relationship with our great Communist adversary. While the Sino/Soviet relationship was already under great stress and strain, the Nixon visit effectively put an end to it. The Chinese and Soviets were already paranoid regarding one another’s intentions, had already amassed troops at their common border, and no longer trusted one another. Nixon’s trip to visit MAO exploited those tensions strategically and accelerated the demise of that relationship creating an adversarial relationship between the two former joined-at-the-hip Communist allies.
The strategic separation between the Soviet Union in no small way contributed to the eventual breakup of the Soviet Union in 1991 and led to the rise of China as an unintended consequence of Nixon’s Tour De Force. As the Soviet Union fell into disarray and eventual dissolution, the fortunes of China rose to create the nation that has now become America's greatest existential adversary.
But guess what? Due to the Diplomatic indifference and blundering of the Biden administration, the Russia/China romance is back. Chinese President Xi visited Russia on an official state visit and is in full support of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. China’s strength, both militarily and economically, and Russia’s relative weakness on both fronts without China's support, make Russia the weak but very dangerous client date of China, which was the identical role of the junior partner China played in the former Sino/Soviet relationship.
The Biden administration hasn’t said a peep regarding this most significant shift in a geopolitical realignment in 50 years. The insipid John Kirby, Pentagon spokesman, and party line lackey said about this new development with no sense of urgency:
“I think you’ve seen over years now these two countries going — growing closer together. I wouldn’t go so far to call it an alliance. Yesterday I called it a “marriage of convenience,” because that’s what I think it is.”
The Biden administration has likely been silent for two reasons:
They likely have no understanding of the horrific strategic consequences of the Russia/Sino rapprochement.
If they do, as always “optics” and politics come first, and they are incapable of admitting their incompetence/blundering and will do nothing in an attempt to strategically address this most serious development.
The China/Russia reunification is like one of those bad marriages that you hear about when couples divorce and then remarry. Unfortunately, if this newly reunited couple develops a full-blown romance, there will be a lot more to worry about than romance.
The China/Russia reunification is now the greatest geopolitical threat to America, Democracy, and The American Way.
Once again while the Biden Family enjoys Chinese takeout and big Chinese paydays, America is looking down at the barrel of a gun. Just like Mao Tse-Tung once said, "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.”
Mao’s guns are now pointed in our direction…
