DON'T TREAD ON ME: A NATION UNWILLING TO FIGHT FOR ITS FREEDOM IS GUARANTEED TO LOSE IT
Vol. I | Issue. 74 | March 14, 2022
The Gadsden Flag shows a coiled snake with the words "Don't Tread on Me". The flag was designed by Christopher Gadsden, a Continental Colonel from South Carolina, and presented to the Colonial Marines who were then the Colonial seaborne infantry force.
The Gadsden Flag was adopted by the Colonial Marines along with the "Moultrie Flag”, a blue flag with a white crescent containing the word "Liberty". The two Flags served as symbols for Continental Marines until 1798, the year in which The United States Marine Corps was formed.
The coiled "timber rattlesnake rattlesnake" whose scientific name is Crotalus horridus, was a venomous predator found in all of the 13 original colonies.
“Don't Tread on Me", from the initial days of America’s founding, combined with the coiled snake and words Liberty has been used as universal American symbology to show the world and remind ourselves that we will fight to the death for our freedom, and woe be it to any nation on earth seeking to take it away from us.
Tragically, it appears Americans have become less willing to fight for our freedom.
As we watch the Ukrainian people fight their existential fight for freedom, Americans seem to have formed a universal armchair consensus of admiration for the Ukrainians and their “fight to the death” spirit. However, it appears that America's admiration of Ukrainian grit and determination to be free would not translate into the defense of our own freedom, were America to be invaded.
A recent poll taken by Quinnipiac shows that only 55% of Americans would remain to fight for our country. The split is 68% / 48%, Republicans to Democrats.
However, the number is still pathetic. Most importantly, it indicates (if true) the complete rot of the American mind regarding the value of our own freedom, and how precious it is. The American brand of freedom, unlike the limited freedoms of other democracies that have come to fruition after America’s founding, is unique in its scope and depth.
As President Ronald Reagan stated in "A Time for Choosing"...
How have we gotten to the point where roughly half of America would flee rather than fight for our freedom?
The Left has been teaching America to hate itself for decades. As I have described, the “Hate America Movement” crept into the American classroom in 1964 and has metastasized like the disease that it is into virtually every classroom in America. There are now three living generations who have been exposed to this madness, and it has poisoned the minds of millions.
Both the Democrat Industrial Complex and their sidekick American Pravda do everything, every day, in every way to hate America.
While it's true that the Quinnipiac poll is just a poll, my most educated prediction tells me that it reflects the underlying reality that fewer and fewer Americans every day are willing to fight for American freedom.
We don't have to be invaded to have our freedom taken… The last two years of Pandemic Diktaks, have made clear that our freedom can be stolen with the stroke of a pen.
All Americans should carry the symbol of the coiled rattlesnake in their hearts and minds, every day. Make certain that your children, and grandchildren, understand that America is the greatest country in the history of the world.
Teach them that The American Way is how we got there, and how easily we will lose it if we don't wake up.
It’s now Volodymyr Zelensky, not the President of the United States, who is saying to the Russians and the world:
“Don't Tread On Me…”

Agree with the sentiments completely...might want to adjust the ratios of D's to R's in the article (not the cartoon)
